What We Do

TaxDelinquentTexas is a property data platform built for real estate investors, researchers, and professionals who need accurate, up-to-date information on tax delinquent properties across Texas. We aggregate and organize public tax records from county tax assessor-collector offices throughout the state, making it easy to search, filter, and analyze properties with unpaid taxes.

Our Data Sources

Every record on our platform comes from official, publicly available county tax records. We do not estimate, model, or generate any property data. What you see is what the county records show.

• Public delinquent tax rolls obtained through Texas Public Information Act requests
• Official county appraisal district records
• Public tax sale notices and auction schedules

How We Verify Data Quality

Raw public records can be messy. We run every dataset through a multi-step verification process before any property appears on the site:

• Every property must have a verified physical street address
• Mineral interests, personal property, and non-real-estate accounts are filtered out
• Delinquency ratios are cross-checked against county population data to catch anomalies
• Properties are deduplicated across multiple data sources using address normalization
• Data is refreshed on an automated schedule — most county data updates twice daily

• Tax Sale Auctions — upcoming courthouse auctions with confirmed sale dates, minimum bids, and property details
• Struck-Off Properties — properties that went to auction with no bids, now available for direct purchase from taxing entities
• Delinquent Property Records — the full database of properties with unpaid taxes, searchable by owner name, address, county, and amount owed
• Auction Calendar — a county-by-county schedule of upcoming tax sale dates at Texas courthouses

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We take data accuracy seriously. Our platform is designed around one core principle: only real data from real sources. We never fabricate, estimate, or simulate property records. If a county's data doesn't meet our quality standards, we don't publish it until it does.

Property tax records are public information under the Texas Public Information Act (Government Code, Chapter 552). We believe this data should be accessible and easy to use for anyone interested in Texas real estate investment.

Our coverage includes Harris (Houston), Dallas, Tarrant (Fort Worth), Bexar (San Antonio), Travis (Austin), Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Williamson, Montgomery, Galveston, Brazoria, Cameron, Bell, Nueces, Smith, Midland, and many more. We are continuously expanding to cover all 254 Texas counties.
